Mechanical Engineering is an engineering field where both traditional and advanced technologies are used. In order to be competitive in both cases, it is important to follow the current scientific developments and professional practices in the field and to make continuous improvements. In this context, the program aims to provide students with the computer applications and experimental verification skills needed by the industry and the ability to solve industrial problems.

The PhD Program in Mechanical Engineering is designed to allow specialization in manufacturing and automotive fields under the broad and inclusive umbrella of Mechanical Engineering. The program will be conducted in cooperation with the Technical University of Berlin and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and will be taught in English.
